The second IMA conference in Bangkok took place from 19th to 22nd February and attracted over 200 attendees including representatives from Reason Global.
Hosted at the Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park Hotel, the conference kicked off on the evening of the 19th with an opening session including a presentation to attendees by IMA’s chosen charity Operation Smile Thailand, a truly remarkable organisation. Leading up to the conference, IMA raised a total of 182,000 THB for the charity (equivalent to just under US$6000) and fundraising continued during the conference itself.
The Opening Reception followed, proudly sponsored by Reason Global. It was the perfect start to two days of networking meetings which were very well attended. On the second evening, the Gala Dinner brought some unusual entertainment from attendees, ranging from traditional Thai dancing to singing and guitar playing.
The conference was an excellent opportunity for Reason Global to meet up with our international clients and partners and debate the challenges and opportunities currently facing the global moving market whilst raising very much needed finance for the conference’s charity Operation Smile Thailand.
Overall, IMA 2019 was a huge success for all involved and there’s no doubt next year will just be bigger and better. We are looking forward to it already!
