Nicholas Marshall, who joined Reason Global in 2005 after almost 20 years working within the specialist transportation and storage division at Willis, led a BAR Removals Masterclass on Insurance for the Moving Industry at a week-long series of workshops in November. Nicholas shared his extensive experience of the moving and storage insurance sector, and used his time spent responsible for high-level service delivery to a significant portfolio of the company’s self-storage and moving client base to create a succinct insight document into insurance for Removal Managers.
Nicholas’s two-hour Masterclass examined:
- What insurance is, and the role it plays in business.
- How customer’s possessions are covered financially in the event of damage or loss.
- What happens when disaster strikes (for example a warehouse fire).
- The importance of vehicle insurance and other types of insurance necessary to the Removals Industry.
